ALL ABOUT LITTLE DOROTHY
Hi! I’m Little Dorothy. I live in New York City. I have a mom and dad, and a very special grandmother who loves to ice skate, almost as much as I do. I also have a pet cat named “Snowflake.” My mom even lets me feed her! Do you have any pets?
There are so many things I like to do… play with my friends; go to the zoo; I also visit the museum to see the special exhibits. And sometimes, I go to the Planetarium, I even got my telescope there! What do you like to do?
I go to elementary school just like other kids do, but I also go to a skating school; a special place on ice where I learn to skate. It is my favorite place in the whole world! I love dressing up in skating costumes and learning tricks with my skating friends. We practice together and give each other encouragement. And when I dream of ice skating, we are the only ones on the ice!
So far, my favorite spin is the Layback, it was hard for me to do at first, but with lots of practice, it got easier. And I like doing Split Jumps because flying through the air is so much fun. What is your favorite skating move?
I love to read all types of books, my favorite books are about princesses and action adventure stories. What type of books do you like to read? Well, I have to go practice ice skating. Bye for now.
